What we did...

Mental health first aiders

We trained mental health first aiders from various departments to provide initial support to those who need it.

Shareable Resources

We worked with Greene King to understand their unique needs in the wake of COVID-19, and developed bespoke shareable content.

Train the trainer

We are currently developing a bespoke 'Trainer' course, which wil enable internal trainers to deliver across the business.  

We met with senior leaders to identify their objectives and understand the various needs within the businessWe developed a whole organisation approach, starting with tailored awareness training for CEO, Directors and Senior Leaders. 


We deliver regular live sessions that go out organisation-wide around mental health and building resilience.  

We are currently supporting them with how their reopening plans and how they look after the wellbeing of their people during more times of change and uncertainty. 

A cohort of Mental Health First Aiders

We developed bespoke shareable content that they could immediately get out to employees and developed a framework of resources, reference materials, policies, training and an ongoing programme to ensure sustainability.  They included:

  • How to cope with isolation
  • How to support others
  • How to work from home
  • How to look after your own wellbeing
  • Where can people get help and support?
  • How do we support our first aiders?

The best thing about working with Oakwood was their collaborative approach. They understood our needs from MHFA training through to Leading & Managing Wellbeing, as well as short immersive webinar sessions on looking after ourselves in Lockdown and bouncing back to reopening.

Our work with Oakwood gave us permission to discuss mental health at the leadership level and has changed the way our managers think about their team's wellbeing.

We've been able to measure the impact of these changes through our Lockdown 3.0 Engagement Survey and our annual survey.
